Abstract

The abstract should not exceed 250 words and should cover the most important aspects of the article (experimental method, most important results and conclusions). It must be presented in both Spanish and English..

Keywords: 3 to 5 words.

Introduction:

The introduction provides three relevant elements of the research: purpose, importance and current knowledge on the topic. The text begins with general aspects (often following a chronological order) to finally reach the purpose of the project. It states briefly the raised issues and the reasons of the research to present them.

Methods and Materials:

It should be used subtitles to separate the different aspects of this section, indicating the design and statistical methods used.

Results and Discussion:

Data should be presented as concisely as possible, with the help of subtitles and graphics. The graphics should not duplicate information that already appears in the tables. Estimators must be accompanied by appropriate dispersion statisticians. The signals of significant differences should include the probability level achieved. Weights and measures should be expressed in the metric system. If diagrams are required, the author should suggest the type of graphic to be used and provide statistical data for making them. In the case of the regression equations it must be included scattering points relative to the curve (original data). The discussion of the meaning of the results may or may not be in a separate section of the presentation of the same. References to other works should be limited to those that are directly related to the author’s work. Quotations must include the author and year, such as: “Declines found indicators of growth evaluated are given by climatic factors affecting the ecosystem under study” (Valdes et al., 2002) or (Valdes , 2000) or (Valdes and Gomez 1999). The use the first author followed by et al. for jobs that have more than two authors.

Conclusions:

This section of the scientific paper is optional and it is generally included in long articles or papers with a lengthy discussion section. The simplest way to present the conclusions is by enumerating consecutively, but it is possible to present a summary of the content of the article by mentioning quickly its purpose, the main methods, the most prominent data and the most important contribution of the research. The conclusions section should not excessively repeat the content of the abstract.

References:

References should be given at the end of work following the name of the authors in alphabetical order. These references should include the names of the authors, the initials of the names, the year, the research title, the title of the publication, references to books should include the place and date of publication, the publisher and edition number. The titles of journals should not be underlined and the volume and page number must be separated by colons. The score is kept to a minimum.
