Since December 17, 2014, the US and Cuba have taken significant steps to restore normal diplomatic relations. By some accounts, travel to Cuba has shot up by as much as 600% as a result. The rest of the world has taken notice as they too have stepped up their efforts to engage with Cuba.
While the future of the US-Cuba is relationship is still unknown, one thing is certain: Cuba is never going to be the same again. A new Cuba is emerging. We have partnered with La Universidad de Cienfuegos and others to provide you with unique opportunities to learn, collaborate, build partnerships and to be a part of Cuban history.

Discover Cuba Through Its Music is a 3-week intensive music immersion program for international students with an interest in studying world music with a focus on Cuban music, Cuban culture, politics, history, and cross-cultural issues.
Designed for Spanish language students at all levels, beginner to advanced, this course promotes language learning in a meaningful cultural context.
An interdisciplinary approach to the study of Afro-Cuban cultures and religions, with hands-on workshops at local Lucumí and Congo religious societies.
