Be a presenter at Cuba TIES V!

The call for Papers is now open. This year, we are accepting proposals for papers, posters, panels and audiovisual presentations.

Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis until September 1, 5:00 PM PST.

Main Topic: Internationalization, Culture and Identity

Objectives:

    • To promote debate on the management of international relations and its role in the development of cultural identity in a globally sustainable context
    • To reflect on international offices and their impact on the development of cultural identity
    • To spark the exchange of work/research criteria and strategies for the integration and active role of directing international relations pertaining to the internationalization of higher education
    • To reflect on the academic, cultural, and student work and its impact on international development of institutions of higher education

Topics:

    1. Management of international relations and its role in the development of cultural identity in a globally sustainable context
    2. International offices and their impact towards the development of cultural identity
    3. Academic, cultural and student work and its impact on international development of institutions of higher education

Forms of Participation: Sessions, pre-conference workshops, expositions

Presentation Formats: Papers, posters, audiovisuals.

How To Be Accepted:

Step 1: Submit your Abstract & CV

Complete and submit the abstract form. Email the form and your curriculum vitae to the Cuba TIES Scientific Review Committee at TIES@CivitasGES.com.

Step 2: Register for Cuba TIES V

Only proposals from registered participants will be considered. If acceptance of your proposal is required to receive funding from your institution, then complete the registration form and request an invoice. Send your request for an invoice to TIES@CivitasGES.com

Step 3: Submit Your Paper

Once accepted, submit a paper that is no longer than 15 pages including tables and figures, double spaced in Arial 12pt. font. The scientific committee will use your paper to determine your placements in one of our commissions.

Step 4: Submit Your Presentation

Cuba TIES V is a bilingual conference. Advanced interpretation and language students perform summary translations during your presentation. Submit your presentation (and/or accompanying script) by September 20 to allow sufficient time for preparation. 


Cuba TIES V is a bilingual conference. Papers may be in either English or Spanish. Presentations will be translated by interpreters.

Each presentation is limited to 20 minutes, but 5-10 minutes of that time will be taken up by the interpreter.
