X WORKSHOP OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCES FOR THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION (TIES 10)
EXHIBIT AT A TABLE

HOST A LUNCH
Organizing a conference requires a lot of heavy lifting from a good number of people who often go unnoticed. In addition to the day-to-day responsibility that comes from being a part of the faculty or staff of a Cuban University, the volunteers work tirelessly sometimes under complicated circumstances. It is time we recognize all of these volunteers and show our gratitude for all of their hard work. The least we can do is offer up a special lunch to recognize their efforts. Your contribution will go toward making a special lunch for the community a reality. In addition to providing lunch, your institution’s logo will appear on the event wall.

HOST A COFFEE BREAK
Critical to the workings of any conference, your coffee break will keep us fueled throughout our presentation sessions. Nothing like pure Cuban coffee to keep us motivated. No worries, we will provide tea and snacks as well. Each break will be catered by a private restaurant known as paladar. Not only are you making an impact on the conference, but you will be supporting the Cuban people.

THE STUDENT FORUM
Hosting a student on your home campus is complicated, especially now. Internationalization at home is a crucial component of the experience that transforms both visitors and hosts alike. In the interest of supporting transformation and creating even more access for Cuban faculty and students, we’re to sponsor a student from another province to be a part of the Cuba TIES student forum. Your contribution will empower two students from another province to participate in the forum. The contribution will cover the cost of travel, accommodation and meals. They’ll also have a chance to participate in all our conference programs.
THE CUBA TIES CLASSIC
The Softball Quality-of-Life league is a community project to promote men’s health and foster community building that began in 2008. Players must be at least 50 years of age to play in the weekly round robin tournament each week. The league today consists of over 80 players on 3 teams that play each Sunday morning. The players hail from all parts of the community including retired Cuban Major League players. Each year, the league participates in Cuba TIES to organize the Cuba TIES Classic. The league is always in need of equipment and supplies. 12” softcore balls, caps, aluminum bats, and gloves both batting and fielding are always welcomed gifts.
These contributions are not tax-deductible, but all proceeds go towards their stated goals in support of the Cuban people. If your institution is interested in exhibiting or sponsoring, please feel free to contact us directly at CubaPrograms@CivitasGES.com
Credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% merchant’s fee. If you prefer, you can also make your payment via Zelle, check, or wire transfer. You can contact us to make those arrangements.
You can also show your support by purchasing a Cuba TIES Classic T-shirt. With each shirt you buy, we will give a shirt to make sure that everyone has one on game day.
