Call for Proposals: Be a Part of the Historic First Panel

If you would like to be a part of this historic bilingual panel, you should send your abstract to the Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee via email (dri@ucf.edu.cu) by August 21, 2015. Cuba TIES 2015 is a bilingual event so submissions are welcome in either Spanish or English.

There are six proposed topics for paper submission. The six suggested topics are:

1. Distance Learning and its Role in the Sustainability of Internationalization at Home
2. Management of Programs, Projects and International Networks
3. Forming an International Student Body: Its Relevance and Impact
4. Cooperation of Universities for Sustainable Development
5. Professionalization of International Officers
6. Internationalization of the Academic Curriculum

The abstract should not exceed 500 words and no more than 4 or 5 key terms. Please also include your full name, institution, address, country, telephone number, fax and email address. The deadline for final papers is September 4, 2015. Papers should contain the following information: Title/ Authors/ Institution/ Country/ Email. The papers should be written in Arial 12, single space, 8½” x 11” paper (21,59 cm x 27,94 cm), maximum length of 10 pages, indentation 2.5cm or 1” on each side, and using Word 6.0 or later. The text should provide information about the objectives, the methods used, the results, conclusions, and bibliography used. The work should be sent in a compressed format, not exceeding 2.0 Mb in size.

The organizing committee will make its final decision on papers by September 21, 2015. If you are selected, you may be paired with another panelist to encourage discussion at the workshop. If you have any questions, you can email Civitas GES at CubaPrograms@CivitasGES.com.
