ONE PEOPLE, ONE COMMUNITY
An increasingly interconnected world demands a culturally immersed and geographically diverse background; and we are on top of it. At Civitas Global Educational Services (GES), we are dedicated to providing critical tools for integrating the international experience into your education. Whether you are an industry professional, student, or an adult seeking to continue your education, Civitas GES:
As we rapidly become a global community, we are continually faced with new challenges. Civitas Global Educational Services provides you with the tools to develop the expertise you need to rise up and meet these challenges.
Amid this global pandemic, Civitas GES remains dedicated to creating bridges between the U.S., Cuba and all our continental neighbors. We are also equally committed to the safety of our participants, our partners and the communities where we engage and collaborate. It is our responsibility to respect those in our community by taking the proper precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In the context of travel, there is no “zero risk” of getting and spreading the novel virus. However, to ensure a safe and rewarding exchange, we are actively monitoring the global health landscape, national and international advisories, and collaborating with our partner institutions here and abroad as part of our comprehensive risk mitigation strategy.
We return to our mission to building and sustaining long-lasting partnerships and impactful experiences in a world where mutual respect plays a bigger role now more than ever.

On March 3, American University Professor Emeritus Dr. Philip Brenner sat down for a one-on-one conversation with Lianys Torres Rivera, the first woman Cuban Ambassador to the U.S. They discussed Cuba’s effort to manage the COVID-19 epidemic, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and other topics. In case you missed it, the University of Cienfuegos celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding on December 7, 2019. Educators from around the globe gathered for the 40th anniversary event. We asked students, professors and administrators who have collaborated with UCf over the last six years, to please send some celebratory words to share with the university.
The responses poured in so we combined as many as we could into this digital toast to UCf. Thank you to all of the students, professors, administrators, and staff who have gone above and beyond to make these collaborations possible. Thank you to all who continue to commit themselves to keeping collaborative international education possible.
