PROGRAM GOAL
The award-winning Lehman in The Provinces program, established in 2016, has taken two delegations of students and faculty to Cuba to research, study, and collaborate with university partners through the island. After a pause in the program due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lehman in The Provinces is ready to launch again with an exploration trip for faculty and staff. As a delegate of the program, you will visit Cuba, meet with Ministry and university administrators, and faculty. We’ll tour universities in various provinces, engage with community organizations, meet with artists, and visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our goal is to experience Cuban culture and build foundations for future collaborations and programs.

TRAVEL PROGRAM FOR US DELEGATES
Civitas Global Educational Services offers a travel program for all delegates from the United States looking to participate in compliance with the US Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Civitas GES has been building Cuba-US partnerships and facilitating programs for US institutions since 2014. A portion of the proceeds from the travel program will be used to provide logistical support for Cubans from other provinces to attend in-person. All US delegates will have the support of our resident coordinators through out the experience.
All invoicing and payments are processed by Squareup.com. All initial deposits for this program are non-refundable. The deposit counts towards the full cost of the program. Click here to view our full terms and conditions.

ONCE YOU HAVE PAID THE DEPOSIT, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE FROM CIVITAS GES FOR THE TRAVEL PROGRAM COST LESS THE DEPOSIT PAID.

The Total Program Cost Includes:
- R/T Airfare between New York and Cuba
- Program Development Fee
- Coordination Fees
- Health Insurance while in Cuba
- Cuba Visas
- Accommodations at the Hotel Nacional (Pending OFAC Approval)
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Daily
- Entry fees to all community, cultural, historic, and/or environmental site visits that are part of the program
- Pick Up/Drop Off at the Airport
- English-speaking guide and interpreters
- Transportation for group events during program
