It’s a People-to-People Trip
When you participate in Cuba TIES 2016, you participate in a People-to-People trip that includes visits to cultural, historical or environmentally significant locations in Cuba.
Your trip begins when you arrive on Sunday, October 23 at Jamie Gonzalez Airport in Cienfuegos. Cuba TIES 2016 begins the next day. After the workshop, you will spend the weekend visiting Havana, Trinidad or other locations in Cienfuegos with Universidad de Cienfuegos professors. Your trip ends when you return on Sunday, October 30.
You decide how you would like to end the week when you register.
If you decide to visit Havana, you will spend Saturday night, October 29 in the capital city. Your return flight will originate from Jose Marti Airport in Havana.
