X international scientific convention of Matanzas

This event aims to share knowledge and latest in developments and research in the sciences and humanities among participating countries. CIUM 2021 will consist of the following ten (10) simultaneous workshops:

• III Workshop on Didactics and Application of Basic Sciences
• XI International Workshop on Environmental Management and Education for sustainable development
• V International Workshop on Basic and Postgraduate Training at La Universidad Contemporanea
• XII International Meeting of Business Sciences and Tourism
• XIII International Ecology Workshop, Sustainable Agricultural Resources
• X University Extension Workshop, Community Work, Gender Equity
• I Workshop for the elderly
• II Workshop on Physical Activity and Recreation
• II Meeting of Social Sciences and Sociocultural Studies

The Academic Committee invites students, faculty, researchers, administrators and others to submit proposals for papers and virtual posters by February 28, 2021. Proposals received after the deadline will be evaluated on a rolling basis. The modality of participation for CIUM 2021 will be paper presentation. All presentations will be done online.

All potential presenters should submit an abstract of no more than 200 words with a title of no more than 15 words. Proposals should be a PDF format document, in 12-point Arial font, 1.5 space, with 1 inch margins all-around (2.5cm). All citations should follow APA guidelines.

All potential participants should submit their proposal to CIUM@CivitasGES.com and complete the registration form below.

For Paper Presenters: Once your paper proposal is approved, the presenter(s) should be prepared to submit a PowerPoint presentation or equivalent. Presenter(s) should also submit a video recording not to exceed five minutes and a maximum size of 25MB with an explanation of the presentation’s main ideas. The video will be used in the event that the presentation needs to be shared asynchronously.

All presenters will be sent a link to upload their presentations and videos.
