Softbol Veteranos Season 11 Week 22
In the resumption of the Veterans Softball League belonging to the Project: “Softball, quality of life" after three weeks without playing due to the Father's Day festivities and the rain affectation, the offense decreased considerably, suffice it to point out that only 72 runs were scored in the three games of the day, far below the usual average of 142. In addition, only 78 hits were connected in total, far below too of the average of 105 on each Sunday. In contrast, the defence was much better than usual since only two errors in the three games were committed when the weekly average is above 7.
As a highlight, the Elephants of the veteran team 1 swept again, increasing their lead at the top of the standing, now to 9 games, as their closest pursuer, the Shrimpers of the veteran team 3, that lost the Sunday double game.
