Coordinated by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Granma, The International Workshop of Sustainable Agriculture and Biotechnology is the oldest of the workshops that comprise the Cuban Congress for Local Development. The Workshop has seen international participation from professors, researchers, producers and students from Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Guatemala, Ecuador, Guyana and Angola. The Workshop has had consistent participation from institutions from all over Cuba, most notably from the National Institute of Animal Sciences (INCA) and the University of Havana.

Proposals for all papers and virtual posters are due by July 20, 2021.
All potential participants should complete both the online attendance and proposal forms. All potential presenters should submit an abstract of no more than 200 words with a title of no more than 15 words. Proposals should be a .PDF format document, in 12-point Arial font, 1.5 space, with 1 inch margins all-around (2.5cm). All citations should follow APA guidelines.
Once your paper proposal is approved, the presenter(s) should be prepared to submit a PowerPoint presentation or equivalent. Presenter(s) should also submit a video recording not to exceed five minutes and a maximum size of 25MB with an explanation of the presentation’s main ideas. The video will be used in the event that the presentation needs to be shared asynchronously.
