About the Trip
From February 15 to 19, 2016 the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education (MES) and the universities of Cuba gather to convene the 10th International Congress of Higher Education in Havana (“El Congreso”).
This year, the University of Cienfuegos Studies Center for Energy and the Environment (CEEMA) is organizing international workshops on “University, the Environment, Energy and Sustainable Development” at El Congreso and would like you to participate.
The Scientific program of the workshop will be a space for you to discuss and debate topics related to energy challenges, the protection of the environment and sustainable development in a plural and reflexive way. This is a unique opportunity for exchanging experiences with organizations such as University networks for the environment, energy efficiency, renewable energies, disasters prevention, cleaner productions and UNESCO Environment and Development networks.
After participating in El Congreso, we will continue to la Universidad De Cienfuegos for meetings with faculty and administrators. We will also visit some of the region’s protected areas.
Space for this trip is limited so participation will be confirme on a first-come, first-served basis.
